As global TB meet opens in Hyderabad, voices from the frontlines call for ending the pandemic | #endTB Dialogues

This Podcast features a conversation with G Swamy Reddy of Lepra Society, who is among the LEADERS featured in #EndTB Dialogues - a special CNS series, presenting insightful and thought-provoking interviews with leaders to accelerate progress towards ending TB. Launched in the lead up to the 50th Union World Conference on Lung Health in October 2019, this #endTBdialogues series underpins the URGENCY to step up the fight against the epidemic.
#EndTBdialogues feature conversations with those who have spent years in fighting the world's top infectious killer disease. Business as usual will fail us in meeting the #endTB target by 2030. New/fresh thinking is vital to reimagine every critical cog-in-the-wheel to end TB, as well as accelerate progress towards other SDGs.
As world's biggest conference on tuberculosis is about to open in Hyderabad, CNS Managing Editor Shobha Shukla interviewed him as he is among the champions fighting TB on the frontlines in King Koti area hospital's Designated Microscopy Centre and DOTS centre.
He is in conversation with CNS Managing Editor Shobha Shukla. Shobha is also the Coordinator of APCAT Media (Asia Pacific regional media network to end TB and #tobacco, and #beatNCDs).
