CNS provides issue-focussed coverage from health and development events or meetings happening around the world, by facilitating an on-site team of CNS writers from low- and middle- income countries. These writers document people-centric issues on-site not only from what's being said (and not said) at the event but also raise key local realities from their own community perspectives on such forums.
Some of the core CNS team members have earlier worked with Health and Development Networks (HDN) that established gold standards in documenting people's voices that are seldom heard. HDN facilitated a global team of Key Correspondents in 53 countries.

"HDA is excited to announce that it has joined the Mott MacDonald Group (www.mottmac.com), a uniquely diverse global management, development and engineering consultancy. Within Mott MacDonald, HDA will be joining the International Health Division, which also includes the well established health care consultancy HLSP (www.hlsp.org).
HLSP and HDA have partnered over the years and are currently working together on the DFID-funded Strengthening South Africa’s Revitalised Response to AIDS and Health (SARRAH) programme.
This move allows HDA to expand our work in sub-Saharan Africa. Linking with HLSP gives us access to additional technical expertise in areas such as health systems strengthening, reproductive health, aid effectiveness and capacity development. Mott MacDonald will provide us with management support and systems to improve the day to day management and quality control of our various projects.
HDA would like to thank all our clients and staff who have worked with us over the last 8 years, and we look forward to working with you all in the next exciting phase of our organisation."
The bar is a cozy place with small button chairs around low tables, art for sale hanging on the walls, and a big screen television. The television was showing a silent film the night I went and I was tempted to watch it and catch a later showing of the movie I came to see.
A wide selection of bottles lined the back of the bar and I suppose I could have ordered just about anything. I ordered a margarita and asked if it could be a frozen margarita. Margaritas there only come on the rocks, but that's no worry--the only thing that can ruin a margarita is cheap tequila. Once the bartender picked up the Cuervo, I knew it would be a good drink. Margaritas are $7, not a bad price, and don't forget to tip the bartender.
