Justice Rajindar Sachar raised the demand to end sedition law. This sedition law is misused to reprimand political opponents. All political groups should come together for a consensus on this issue and end sedition law. Socialist Party (India) also calls for ending capital punishment. Most nations in the world have abolished capital punishment.

Justice Rajindar Sachar also demanded that government should make the names of those companies public which owe Rs 1.14 lakh crores of loan and banks have waived off this loan too. Vijay Mallya who was in this list of loan defaulters had faced some action due to which he left the country. Citizens should know the names of all loan defaulting companies and strict process should begin to recover the loan from these companies. Action should also be taken against those who played a role in waiving off the loans for these companies.

Wastage of water for IPL or for use in swimming pool should also be stopped so that water needs of people should be met first. All those companies whose water extraction plants have caused depletion in ground water level (such as Coca Cola or Pepsi) should be closed. Coca Cola's plant located in Mehndiganj Varanasi has now been identified for its extensive extraction of water as per definition of the government.

All political parties should form a consensus on ending Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) so that 15 years long fast of Irom Sharmila can also end.
