When I ask why
a municipal water pipe leaks
for years without repair
or garbage lies everywhere
people hardly care
Dysfunctional traffic lights
hol(e)y roads, uneven side walks
open drains even during rains
callous government schools and hospitals
eve teasers, tree cutters, road blockers
My complaints cause flares
I am imperfect too
But rarely at another's expense
So I will question why
Until from the earth I fly...
